New features or fixes for your current website starting at $250. Start with a free 15 minute video call to discuss your project.
Who Is This For?
Are you dissatisfied with your current website?
Templates don’t always cut it. They can often feel like ill-fitting clothes: Too tight in some spots and falling open in others. Even if it doesn’t necessarily require coding knowledge to build, customizing a website can feel like an endless task.
I have the experience to update your website to better represent the quality of your work. Your website can add to your customer’s journey with some relatively minor aesthetic or functional updates.
You’ve gotten your website this far. I can work on new updates so you can return to the work you love.
Handcrafted updates to humanize your web presence
Starts at $250 for a partial page update. Additional features will cost more, depending on their complexity.

How does this work?
We start with a free 15 minute video call over Zoom. (You can schedule it via Calendly.) I’ll ask you about your project and your current website.
I send you a proposal based on our conversation (but no actual design work yet).
When you make your decision, we sort out legal and financial stuff so I can schedule your project on the calendar.
Then you send me content. I send specific checklists and instructions, so there’s no guesswork involved. The faster I get your content, the sooner I can start working on your rough designs.
Black and white designs will show multiple sketchy concepts of what your update could look like, based on the content you provided. Everything will be rough in this stage to help us focus on the basics.
I send a video walkthrough. You provide feedback. I use your feedback to finish the designs.
Using your branding, logos, content, and photos, I make the design look as close to pixel-perfect as possible. Again, I send a video walkthrough. After your feedback, then we make it real.
I walk you through providing me the correct access to your website.
I start work on your update.
Once done, we test it. Two sets of eyes will make sure we catch all possible mistakes.
You send the final payment.
Then we go live!
Who am I?
I’m Ed Miller. I’ve spent the past 10 years designing software to help big companies run their businesses more efficiently. I’ve helped them save millions of dollars, but that didn’t save me from a layoff. With the corporate world the way that it is today, I decided to return to my roots: Designing websites for the little guy.
My first taste of the web design business was for a niche, but popular fanfiction website. (No, not that one. The one I worked on is not around anymore.) I got to work on something fun and exciting. Working on creative business projects is that same kind of exciting. There’s something new every day.
I learned a lot in the past decade and now I get to use those powers for good. (Not that I did evil things, but I definitely wasn’t able to make as much impact for the people as I really would have liked.)
I will make the back end of your site make your job easier, while the front end makes it easier for your customers to say, “Hell yeah!”
